Had a lovely large downstairs room with a view of the garden. Huge windows with plenty of light. Beautiful Breakfast and only 5 mins from main town. Several lovely eateries and coffee houses on your doorstep. Lovely walk up to Ben Vrackie and several less hilly walks in your doorstop. Not much to not Like.

The venue is just on the outskirts of town, being 5 mins walk from the centre. This makes it a nice peaceful retreat for those wanting to escape the noise of the bars and restaurants. Beautiful gardens with lovely views. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well decorated. Gordon and his wife have a small team of people who are all kind, pleasant and very welcoming. Laureen makes an exceptional breakfast which will set you up for the day ahead. This was our second visit to Pitlochry and The Claymore, and we will visit again with no hesitation

Lovely place to stay with top staff, beautiful location, immaculate rooms and actually very quiet given the location. The lovely garden to the front of the property gives distance between it and any passing vehicles and can be enjoyed with views over to the hills in the distance. Absolutely marvellous breakfast, served to order and with local, fresh ingredients. Did I mention the great staff....? Very welcoming and informative owner brings a personal touch.
