Fabulous area, very historical. Everyone we met there was super friendly. Breakfast at Casa da Padaria was excellent.

The building is an historical stone house in the unforgettable village of Piodao. Already stepping inside you can tell you are making a trip back in time. All over the place you see furniture and objects coming from a long gone past. But still, not a bit of the functionality of a welcoming guest house gets lost. The place is spotless, the care and attention to detail is honestly unmatchable, from the tea and coffee corner just past the entrance, to the goodbye shot of Jinja when you leave. It has been the best stay we ever made. There are places which are more luxurious (or pretend to be such), there are places which end up just being quite pretencious, but no other place is just right for the setting like this guesthouse. In short it is the perfect match for a village like Piodao, which leaves in the visitor a deep feeling of remembrance of what our world used to be. The only regret: we wish we could give 12 out of 10.

What a super location! If you open the window, you hear the sound of river. If you close it, it is extremely silent. Very big breakfast, nice woman in charge.
