The magnificent view. House - mainly very spacious. The little touches - beautiful embroidered sheets, leaving lovely baked morning tea at door … Relaxing deck chairs and other deck furniture, and lounge. Very good air conditioning. Bathroom with toilet, plus another separate toilet. Quite good, fully supplied kitchen, including water filter.

Fresh bread rolls delivered to the property every morning is lovely. Plus pasteis de nata, cheese biscuits and jam on the first day. View from the terrace over the Douro is fantastic - the downside is the steep walk up from and down to the town, but keeps you fit!

The views were fabulous, they made the property very special. There was a games room with Table tennis, pool table, darts etc The owners live on site which is helpful if there is a problem
