Excellent location in Pinhao with a view overlooking the Douro and its boat moorings. Breakfast buffet was very good as was the ability to sit on the porch overlooking the river. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Concierge services were OK.

Fabulous location overlooking the Douro River and adjacent to the railway platform which was very convenient for rail travellers. Good service and good breakfasts with an excellent dinner, if expensive, especially relative to local restaurants. Comfortable public rooms and bedrooms were very good. Great pool area.
