Well located in centre of small village, right on river, self contained with bar and restaurant, spacious room and bath, balcony and river view a nice touch if selected, nice gardens, good parking if needed, very helpful staff, bar had good atmosphere and food options

Well worth hiring a car to get to Pinhao but rail transport is available. The hotel is stunning and the food is Michelin quality. The location is right on the Douro river, very tranquil. Just idyllic. Nothing was too much for the staff, they couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.
