This spacious apartment is like walking into a home. It is about 10 minutes from the station on foot in a fairly flat part of town. We were 2 friends travelling together and stayed for 5 nights. We had plenty of information in advance from Ana and found the fridge well stocked on arrival with food and drink for supper and our daily breakfast. Every morning the bread fairy left a bag of fresh bread tied to the apartment door handle! The small balcony faces the Pinhāo river and old terraced vineyard slopes, exactly what one comes to Pinhāo to experience. We explored the area by train and boat. You don't need a car if you have reasonable mobility. Taxis are available too.

A great location, very comfortable bed, wonderfully stocked fridge with little extras that were very much appreciated. Our host Ana was so helpful in assisting us with local advice and support.
