The Canal Grande Lodge is simply beautiful, very nice and comfortable rooms with a wonderful view from the terrace. It is very quiet Even so you are in San José. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Thanks to Sylvia for the dinner and Lunch recommendations! The pool area is very relaxing with nice options for sitting areas. The lobby is very nicely decorated in Bali style. We can definitely recommend this place!

Wow! What a perfect little gem of a hotel. This was the ideal end to our stay in Costa Rica before we flew out. The hotel is absolutely stunning. Lovely courtyard and pool. Really tastefully decorated and very private and cool. Lovely host, super friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant by the gate with some of the best food we had in the country. 10/10 all round.
