We arrived earlier than check in time after our trip on the ferry but arrived to constant pouring rain in Picton. We contacted the host and asked if the room was ready and were very pleased that it was and that we could check in a bit earlier. This was such a help with 2 young children to be able to get inside in the warm. The accommodation was very clean, tidy and spacious. The view was lovely even in the pouring rain. The kitchen was well equipped and the laundry with washer and dryer were very welcome after a week of travel already. Underground parking and undercover access to the room was also helpful.

Oxleys Apartment is located a short walk away from the ferry terminal. Unfortunately due to the ferry cancellation we didn't sail, but we still enjoyed the stay in Picton. Be careful to book an option allowing changes or cancellation if you are using the ferry crossing. We stayed in unit 3, a very large apartment suitable of sleeping at least 10 people. There were plenty facilities to host a large group. The towels were fluffy and the beds were comfortable.
