This is a beautiful gastropub with high quality accommodation. We stayed in a room with a small, private garden and it was all very well presented. The staff members were all helpful, professional and happy to have a chat with guests. The food was great and locally-sourced where possible. The Horseshoe is a fantastic base from which to explore this part of Yorkshire.

Lovely old village pub with excellent food and beer, quiet out-of-the-way location. The annex rooms are well appointed, roomy and very comfortable.

Everything .. especially the beautiful location. We would return in a "Heartbeat" :-) should we find ourselves up in that part of Yorkshire again.
