We arrived early evening and found the hosts really welcoming. Lovely, clean room. Excellent tea and coffee facilities but nice little touches such as a sewing kit should you need it Fantastic choice for breakfast. It really covered all the bases: full English, cereal, pastries, fruit and yogurt. Pauline and Simon really did go the extra mile. We were making up a packed lunch to go on a hike and wanted some milk, they not only obliged, but asked if we needed a flask too? They were full of suggestions about places to eat and see. The hotel has excellent parking too. We arrived as paying guests but when we left it felt like we were saying goodbye to friends. We are definitely returning in the new year.

A lovely bed and breakfast in the centre of Pickering with a wonderful cooked breakfast. There was plenty of parking and the owners were very welcoming and helpful

The breakfasts were superb - great choice & good quality food The owner was really engaging as was her son & very attentive to any needs The room was 'ok' - comfortable, if a little dated - but we loved the quirkiness of this!! :) The location was perfect for us - right in the centre of Pickering Free parking was a bonus

The breakfast was very nice, cooked or cereals fruit .Also have gluten free items which i thought was very good. Great curry restaurant nearby. Handy for the buses, shops, and steam train.
