The location was perfect. 2 mins walk to the main high street. Lots of lovely cafes, independent shops, and pubs. The accommodation was excellent. A lovely cosy cottage. Everything you needed was provided.

I had read that the cottage was cosy and it was! Everything we needed was there and the decor was lovely. It was well situated close to the centre of town with shops, cafes etc and there was good communication with the owners who gave us details about the cottage and the area.

The location was excellent - conveniently placed to explore the center of Pickering, supermarkets a short walk away and a playground not far away for little ones. The cottage was very cosy and warm, and a perfect base during a storm which scuppered our travel plans. The cottage was also very well equipped with everything you'd need to cook well at home. We appreciated all the basic condiments (eg. Salt, oils, tea, coffee, etc) and the lovely sweet treats!
