Super friendly & helpful staff. It's our family's return visit after 4 years and it's gotten better. More choices and activities available to join. Many pools and water side. Clean and well managed. Breakfast was excellent , and no queues . The lady handling the noodle bar & omelette /egg station was phenomenal and deserves a pay rise.

My husband and I had the best time here. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Wonderful selection of food. Buffet breakfast was fantastic. We went on the elephant tour, which was a big highlight for us. We are very keen to do the other tours available when we come back. Location was stunning, so clean and well looked after.

Stunning! Really easy free transfer form the mainland and back for check in. Once checking you are driven to your room but after that everything is easy walking distance. We had a few drinks - reasonable prices for a resort. We didn’t eat, other than breakfast, (which had a lovely variety,) in the resort we walked 3mins to the local restaurant and had lovely seafood. Pools were lovely but would be good to have a shaded one kids are allowed in, the one with shade is attached to the bar and kids not allowed.

This hotel is amazing, the food options are varied and the food was excellent. The beach was very clean and the staff are very polite and helpful. We had a villa and it was very spacious with a private pool which we loved, very quiet and with a view over the sea. The garden are beautiful, do go for a walk around the complex, we saw hedges that had been cut into the shape of elephants - fab.

A lovely clean and well maintained hotel with fantastic staff, who went that extra mile to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotels island location makes it perfect for a relaxing holiday, but it’s only a 30 min boat and taxi ride into the hustle and bustle of Phuket. The food at the hotel was excellent and there was a wide choice of food with everything from Thai cuisine to a European menu. The speedboat trips run by the hotel to James Bond Island and the Phi Phi Islands were excellent and the team at the excursions desk were happy to organise any other excursions you wanted to take, or to advise you of the best way of doing them.

We had an absolutely fantastic time during our stay, and loved all parts of our stay! We were picked up at the airport by the resort's taxi (extra fee but worth it for convenience and it was relatively cheap still) and taken to the pier (40 min drive). The water taxi from the pier to the resort was free, arranged by the resort and came at a regular interval. The water taxi experience in itself was a really lovely experience, beautiful water and scenery! The resort check-in experience was smooth. The room was absolutely beautiful. All the food we had at the resort was so delicious. Every day there was a new theme at one of the restaurants for dinner at the resort, the breakfast similarly had a different theme as well (but had great standard staples e.g., omelettes, fruits, smoothies, continental - my wife thought the pain au chocolat at breakfast were the best we've ever had!). The resort beach was also beautiful to walk along during the evening time, and every day there was a new entertainment arranged in the evening - our favourite was the firebreathing entertainers! Massive shout-out to the staff who went over and beyond to make our trip such a memorable experience. Everybody was super sweet and lovely, and really tried their best to make sure we had an amazing time. Particular shout out to Hasan, Con, Kurt, Honey, Jungie, Renan, Ion, and Minny! Everybody was lovely, but they really made an effort to get to know us and looked after us! I also forget the chef's name but he was a super lovely gentleman who would always be walking around every now and then (esp. during breakfast) to make sure everybody was happy with the service and the food, he personally brought us fresh pain au chocolat which was really sweet of him! Thank you again Barcelo team for having us and making our experience so amazing!

The room was absolutely stunning, facility’s were fab. We loved the pool in our room and the pools in resort. Bikes and water sports were n added bonus. Food was delicious from breakfast, dinner and room service. Staff at the welcome entrance before you get boat were absolutely fantastic, made us feel so welcome. I honestly left so happy x
