We stayed in the river view room which had a lovely verandah with a view of the river. The host was extremely helpful with maps and suggestions of where to go. Lovely family, great place to stay.

Small but adequate room, with balcony overlooking the river with good views of the river and passing river traffic and temple opposite. Set back from busy street, good restaurants nearby also mostly with good river views. Sprawling historic city starts across the road, but tuk-tuks or taxis needed to visit main attractions. Hosts kind and helpful, phoned economic Grab taxis for us, which are cheaper than tuk-tuks.
