Location is superb right by the palace. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Pool area is very relaxing.

Lunch by the pool was nice, as was breakfast. We had lovely service from Semah. He even gave us advice about how to cook using Kampot peppercorns we purchased.

The Palace Gate Hotel is in fact just...a Palace😃The warm welcome of the staff and the pristine quality of the rooms and the more than 100 years of history were simply overwhelming. We felt that we had chosen the top of all possibities. Breakfast buffet was uncomparable, super rich and of the finest quality. We got upgraded to very large rooms and enjoyed it so much. The pool and general setup were of pure luxury. If you ever venture to Phnom Penh...this is the place.to stay.
