My partner and I had a lovely one night stay here on Christmas Day. It was about 5.5 hours to drive here from Johannesburg and we stayed here as it is right outside the Phalaborwa gate (about 5 minutes.) So location was excellent. The unit itself was nice and secure with dedicated parking, a secure gate at the property and cameras. We felt completely safe. The unit had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, particularly on Christmas where we were able to assemble a Christmas dinner without issue. There are three comfortable beds and all the amenities you might need. They also leave a park entry form that needs to be filled out before entering the park and it was nice to fill it out at a table in the evening rather than doing so over a counter with 10 other people at the park gate reception. The couple running this place were also friendly and had a little chat while we got settled and offered us some mangos from the beautiful tree on the property. If you are visiting the park and looking for somewhere to stay, stay here.

Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, provided information and advice for our 3 days in Kruger National Park, told us about the area. The chalet was great, very well equipped, clean and comfortable. We used the kitchen to.make dinner and had all the utensils, pots, cutlery and dishes we needed. The garden is beautiful and it was interesting to see the fruit trees, especially the mangos ripening. It was quiet at night, and we felt safe and secure with the gated parking. Location was excellent, 5 minutes to Phalaborwa Gate. Thank you both so much!!!
