Beautiful apartment overlooking the Lake. Spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Lovely swimming pool. Really peaceful. However you need a car as it is not in town.

Host were very friendly and satisfied our request for late check-in. Spacious and spotlessly clean room & bathroom. Nice private sitting area outside, perfect for enjoying the peaceful view and breakfast. Pool area very well kept. Breakfast was served on a little table just for us. Very good overall - coffee, juice, cereal, yoghurt, bread roll & croissant (large) - more than enough. Several good eating places in Pettenasco and nearby Orta San Giulio. Best to book in advance. The quiet and tranquillity of the place was exactly what we were after.

The property is fantastic. Stayed in the upstairs accommodation - bedroom lounge, bathroom and a balcony with a million dollar view. Breakfast was delivered, not buffet but was plenty of very good food. Host provided fresh croissants, meat and cheeses every morning. We loved this place and the area was the best we visited.

The owners were very welcoming and came to meet us at the train station to give us a lift, which was very kind. Views to the lake were fab, room was spacious and very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was served on the private terrace area and was lovely too with fresh meat/cheese, rolls and pastries served. I would return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Calathea
