The fine print
Starting January 1, 2024, a new Greek tax was introduced which is called the “Climate Crisis Resilience Charge”, requiring a fee of €1.5 per night from March to October and €0.5 per night from November to February. The amount needs to be paid in cash or by card upon your arrival at the villa.The pool can also be heated with an additional charge (please note that the pool heating can be used upon advance request for the entire stay and it requires at least one week advance notice).This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Cindy “Stunning views, modern well-equipped villa and warm hosts made for a memorable holiday”

We loved our stay at Aristotelis Residence. The Incredible view and sunsets over the pool were mesmerising and changed dramatically throughout each day. The villa is beautiful with great showers and a really well equipped kitchen, super comfortable sun loungers, beds and a good range of different seating areas. We found Maria and Aristotelis so welcoming and enjoyed wandering down the hill for dinner at their restaurant, Mimi’s. Great food with an easy going vibe, all overlooking another gorgeous view. The villa is in a great location, a few miles from Rethymno which was fun to explore with its’ warren of charming streets and alleys and the amazing Venetian fortress perched high above the town. We also liked the local beaches which are walking distance from the villa. One was a pleasant sandy cove which was popular with local families and the other felt like a tiny hidden gem at the base of a little beach bar. A few sun loungers dotted the pebbly beach and we watched divers exploring the amazing rock and fish life in the cove with snorkelling equipment or just goggles. The water was so clear it was like swimming in an aquarium. We also loved hearing the sheep and their gentle bells every morning as they headed up into the mountains surrounding the property. The villa was an easy drive to Chania and other sites like Kourna lake, Heraklion and Knosos and we also spent a nice afternoon wandering round some mountain villages which were nearby. Aristotelis and Maria were very accommodating and wonderful hosts. They’ve designed the villa for comfort with a keen eye for beautiful design and it made for a memorable holiday.

The house is brand new, with greats design. Location grants you privacy while being close to local beaches, shops and tavernas. The owners and Eturi really make you feel welcome.
