The Nest Hotel was a perfect stop on our South Downs Way walk. The room was super clean and the food was delicious. Communication was a little difficult because the hotel did not reply to my messages through the Booking.com app even though this was how I had booked with them. They did however reply to my email.

Very clean, comfortable room, well located for our purposes, the drinks and food were good (see further comment below).

All the food we had at The Nest was delicious. Evening meal, breakfast and the packed lunch for our walk the next day (£10). The homemade brownie in the packed lunch was worth the cost on its own!
