Maria and Peter immediately made us feel very welcome. The house is in a beautiful setting on the edge of a large olive garden. The road is not far, but there is not a lot of traffic. It is a very peaceful place. We liked the village location. It was only a 5 minute drive to Spartia beach. Pessada beach was even closer. It was still very hot, so for us a 30 minute walk was exhausting, hence we loved Spartia. There are supermarkets close by, so preparing food was easy, and the kitchen was well supplied with all essentials. A car is essential though I think. Kefalonia is a beautiful island with lots of places to explore. When we come again we would definitely come back to Maria’s house in Pessada.

Beautiful stone house in quiet surroundings with olive trees in a working farm with gracious hosts nearby. Like Cephalonia itself, a little bit of Heaven.

Maria was the perfect host giving us the best advice about places to go and visit. Super friendly. The cottage was the perfect size for us and we enjoyed the outdoor space very much surrounded by olive trees and fruit trees. We definately would visit again and we highly recommend.. Thankyou Maria! You are the best!!

It was in a rural location surrounded by olive trees but only 10mins drive from the beach. It was spacious with a beautiful relaxing outdoor seating area, the hammock under an olive tree was a bonus.
