Breakfast was beautifully prepared and presented with lots of options for all dietary needs. Everything was freshly made and tasted delicious. There was enough food and extras left over.And we even received some tips on how to make the delicious cakes that the host prepared.

Everything! Views - we booked the bungalow and the view was a 10/10. Hospitality - Margarida and her brother Luis ensured that we were comfortable in both the accommodation as well as during the wine tour. Margarida also provided us with a long list of recommendations on places to go and eat during our stay, which was extremely helpful. Cleanliness - very clean. Comfort - the bungalow was extremely comfortable and spacious, with a kitchen that's well equipped. Value - it's really value for money especially if compared to other accommodations within vineyards. There's also an outdoor pool that's opened in warmer weather.

The views and the calmness of the location made for a relaxing retreat just like we hope for. Our room was super clean and well decorated. The food was delicious and the were so many options including homemade cakes. Were thing was incredible but the highlight was the staff. The staff was absolutely incredible and always there to help us on whatever we needed! They made us feel at home and truly made our experience better

Everything! Margarida was wonderful, very thoughtful and welcoming. We're a vegan couple and she made us exceptional breakfast. She also gave recommendations for restaurants and travelling in the area. The house itself is beautiful, clean, very cozy and pleasant. The suite is great, we especially enjoyed the bathtub and the fireplace. And of course the view is amazing.

A lovely and cozy place with nice views. A wonderful experience for us urban people. Margarida was such a lovely host who was always ready to help in every aspects, including booking restaurant for us and reminding us how to look after ourselves when all restaurants and supermarkets were closed on Christmas eve. Breakfast was wonderful with all those fresh local fruits and homemade bread/pastries. Wine tasting hosted by Luis was interesting.

Absolutely amazing view into the valley, extremly well equipped suite, and a truely outstandingly friendly host. Just wow! On top of that they have their own wines, olive oil, and port. We will be back again.

Location, view, friendly host, large comfortable rooms. Large comfortable communal lounge to use. Two areas to use outside with sun lounges. Super breakfast.

We were looking for a small, romantic spot to stay in the Douro Valley, and Casa do Romezal fit the bill! The guesthouse sits up on a hill with incredible views out over hills and vineyards. We had a room in the main house, which was beautiful and cozy. The owner, Margarida, is so lovely, and helped us make some dinner reservations while we were in the area. There's also a beautiful infinity pool on property, and the included breakfast in the morning was great.

Everything. It would likely score 10 out of 10 even without Margarida’s full time planning assistance. It is a property to which you would never hesitate to return. And the breakfasts are very special too!
