Casa da Fonte was perfect for our group, (couple, baby and MIL). We were greeting at the location for easy check-in, and provided a ton of excellent recommendations for excursions. The house is well equipped for cooking and the roof top patio was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Easy access driving to anywhere in the region and easy parking.

Excellent experience! Pedro was very friendly and helpful,he met us on arrival and directed us to a small parking space nearby. He also went to the trouble of sending me recommendations of things to see and do as well as places to visit in the region. The apartment is on 3 levels including the (shared) rooftop balconey area, the kitchen had everything we needed and while the shower is downstairs, there is a small ensuite sink/toilet in the upstairs bedroom which was very convenient. Pedro was always available via Whatsapp and he politely warned us about the regular 09:30 arrival of the baker delivering bread in the small space outside below our bedroom window, which was useful as there doesn't appear to be a bakery in the village. I highly recommend Casa da Fonte - you will not be disappointed.

Welcoming, hospitable superfamily! Make sure to test some of their home brewed wines, or take even some home like i did. Also, beautiful region without the tourist caddle you will find in porto/lisbon

Pedro was an attentive host who genuinely wanted us to feel welcome. The basket of waffles, cookies, and port wine was a surprise. The apartment is located about 10 km from town—Google Maps initially directed us through a narrow, winding mountain road just wide enough for one car, though fortunately with little traffic. Thankfully, Pedro later showed us a much shorter and easier route to get around. The two-storey apartment has a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, there’s a kitchen, living area, a second bedroom with a small washroom, and access to a charming terrace with a BBQ grill. And yes, the bread van did come by around 9 a.m.—a lovely local touch. While some kitchen items could have been cleaner, overall it was a pleasant stay—and really great value for money.
