Well-maintained, spacious building — kept impressively clean, even the hardest-to-maintain red bricks. The classic flooring and classy exterior give it a timeless look. A beautiful mix of old-world charm and modern facilities. Overall, the hotel is very nice, and the staff are extremely hospitable and professional. For me, the only odd thing was having to pass through the restaurant to reach my room — a separate passage for guests staying in rooms would make the experience smoother. Breakfast was decent with a good variety of options. The beef nihari and chicken white curry were absolutely delicious. However, fruit options were very limited. The outdoor garden was lovely for a morning walk, but I couldn’t access the gym. I was told it wasn’t available in the early morning since guests were sleeping — a disappointment for morning people like me who prefer to work out before breakfast. Adding a pool would also take this property from good to great. Special hats off to the entire staff for their warm hospitality, and especially to the General Manager, who personally made every guest feel welcome — that was truly noticeable. The complimentary clothes-pressing service was another feather in the cap of Pakhtoon hospitality. All in all, it wasn’t just accommodation — it felt like experiencing colonial-era architecture with a royal touch. Great value for money!

The location is good, security is good, the area of the hotel is good, the lawns are good, the rooms are spacious. Overall it is really a good place to stay.

This property is majestic, built in 1860s. Old portion has huge rooms, very well decorated. Gives you vibes of an old era. Lawn in the property was well maintained, and good security arrangements.
