The fine print
The restaurant by the private beach is open from June to September.Please note that children under 14 years cannot access the spa. Guests aged from 14 until 18 years can access the spa only when accompanied by an adult.Free bikes are subject to availability. Small dogs allowed with extra charge of € 30.00 per day. Pet kit included (mat bowl). Areas not allowed: SPA and Beach, where not allowed by city ordinance.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Great place to stay for a long weekend. Breakfast was great, calm and spacious between the tables. The hotel beach was very nice and clean and all staff were attentative and friendly. We borrowed hotel bycycles and went of small, nice excersions in the vicinity every morning.

From the first moment we entered until we left, Diana (Guest Relations) and her team treated us like royalty. Everyone was friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The room was stunning (along with the view). The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were fantastic (feather or memory foam!). The beach set up was luxurious and not crowded like the other hotels. The dining was top notch including the wine. We ate on the beach twice and the view was stunning. The breakfast buffet was always fresh and the coffee was good. The spa and wellness were clean and comfortable. We also had a couples massage which was very relaxing. Excelsior is a wonderful experience and we would recommend it highly.

The hotel was wonderful. The staff were friendly and the service was attentive but unobtrusive. We got everything we needed, including help finding an emergency dentist! The food was superb - from great breakfasts all the way to wonderful suppers on the beach. The location is fantastic and everything felt stylish and well-thought out. We loved everything about it and will certainly be back!
