Excellent location - minutes to buses , walking distance of city centre. Perfect spot to base yourself to explore Perth and surroundings Excellent staff- check in was quick and easy even though I was exhausted from travel, Staff are cheerful and have good local knowledge eg able to assist with questions on how local transport works. Location is decently secure - no random people, outside area is fully enclosed, reasonably quiet at night. Rules are minimal (less than a page) enormous common area with a variety of seating and tables, large collective kitchen with individual storage areas for your ingredients and a reasonable collection of tools and serving ware - multiple people can cook at once, no clutter. Library, games, tourist info, shoe cupboard/shelevs, laundry room, pool table, ample indoor and outdoor seating, Ample storage, large lockers, large convenient shelf beside bed with power point. Layout of hostel negates the need for excessive rules eg no rule about leaving luggage in walkways because there is so much storage no would do it. Noise is minimal in dorms because there is little space to sit in dorms but an enormous space in the common room. This is the nicest hostel I’ve stayed at so far.

Great vibe, good facilities - kitchen and communal areas. Nice size so I could interact with people. I was lucky as I was on the ground floor near two modern bathrooms. Nice outdoor area and so many places to eat and drink and shop around. It’s not far from the Blue Line free bus which made navigating the area really easy. The staff were great and always ready to say hello. Cleaning was always a priority, each staff shift had a cleaning cycle to do.

Noticed all the small details like some rugs in the lounge room, washing powder in the laundry. Small touches that make it stand out. Also there was always staff cleaning. I arrived back at dinner time and a staff member was vaccuming the lounge area. Great to see rather than once a day early morning and then mess happens. Same in the bathroom. The staff member was saying every 4 hours.

The staff are very friendly and are always cleaning /vacuuming. The hostel is very well located, only a short walk to the CBD yet it's in a quiet area. Definitely not like other backpacker hostels, rooms are air conditioned and there are modern facilities to cook and store your own food.
