It was a good size room and it had good facilities in the room. The en suite was a decent size too. It convenient to the Crown Theatre and the restaurant, Market and Co, which we have used many times before.

Able to park free of charge in a large fenced site, immediately opposite property. Only 3-5 mins walk. Also a small area out front to drop off luggage. There's always a very kind concierge around to help you if needed. Crown Promenade is on the same site as its' big sisters - the Metropole and the Towers which are in a higher price bracket because of the wonderful facilities to keep you entertained. You are able to walk freely between them and enjoy the casino and entertainments. I only needed a quick stopover, ready to fly out the next morning. So I selected the cheaper option Promenade. I booked a Superior King room 112.00 and included breakfast for an additional 18.00 (per person) and asked for a quiet location if possible. I checked in, paid, but was told breakfast needed to be paid seperately. The breakfast was a magnificent all you can eat hot and cold buffet with every type of cuisine, even chinese But unfortunately I was not informed that the Promenade restauarant was not open on a Monday. This was quickly rectified on the morning and we managed to have our lovely cooked breakfast at the Atrium restaurant instead -albeit for the increased price of 48.00 .However due to the misunderstanding the management offered to waive the charge. We very much appreciated the kind gesture and it was reassuring to know that we were in the hands of true professionals who know how to look after their guests. We were located into room 608 with a view over the car park. The room had the potential to have " the wow" factor but unfortunately it was let down by tired carpeting and lounge furniture. The bathroom was a disappointment too. The large bed was really comfortable, and there was a fridge - fully stocked mini bar. A good sized work/dining table was a nice addition. (But mind the low hanging lamp!) Tea and coffee supply was a little wanting.
