When I arrived at the Woodlea the front door was open and James greeted me with a handshake and smiles. Staying at the Woodlea is like staying in James's home. He is an excellent host, gives great recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing based on his own personal experience. I was the sole guest in the Woodlea on one of the nights I stayed. I felt very safe there. It was my first time in Scotland and I was curious about Haggis. James surprised me at breakfast one morning with some vegetarian Haggis in addition to providing Soya yoghurt which was very thoughtful. The breakfast is very tasty even without Haggis. The bed and pillows were comfy. It is a short walk(8 mins) from Perth train station, and from the town centre. Overall James and his staff take great care of guests. I highly recommend staying at the Woodlea.

Very friendly welcome to a lovely cosy, clean accommodation. Fantastic location to explore Perth and the wider area! And the breakfast was delicious, home cooked food !
