Absolutely loved our time at isoladelsole. The hostess was super welcoming and helpful. On arrival after a long journey she helped us settle in and showed us the amazing view from our room. While the only downside could be it can be a tough walk up during the day it makes up for it in its beautiful location, friendly family and friendly animals !! We loved the greeting from little Tommy the dog and the cats each morning. The breakfast spread was perfect and the walk down to Varenna only took around 30 mins. On the way up it could be up to 50 mins however a nightbus after 7pm for tourists takes you straight to the doorstep. Would recommend this B&B for anyone staying in lake Como for a way to stay out of the crowd with beautiful views and a beautiful home.

It’s a cute b&b in Lake Como, very authentic. The host Elena is very kind and helpful! She gave us a lot of suggestions of things to do in the area and let us know about buses replacing trains for while we were there. The room was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed using the terrace.
