The apartment was very tastefully decorated, sympathetic to its age. It was well supplied with essential kitchen items and abundant cleaning materials. Complimentary tea and coffee were welcomed. The apartment was warm and had everything required for a short stay from clean dry towels to local information leaflets. It was easy to find and only a couple of minutes walk from the old town. A short stroll over the bridge took you to a lovely riverside walk which we used to find our way over a footbridge downriver and visit the fascinating museum detailing the history of Vesunna, the gallo-roman settlement from two thousand years ago. The town is filled with restaurants, coffee bars, many shops both eclectic and high quality and several pubs. It even has a choice of Indian restaurants, the best of which is very close. The pedestrian area of the town allows you to walk around and see the sights in complete safety whilst the many squares encourage taking a coffee and watching the world go by!

Great location on the edge of the old town. Walking distance to everywhere. Loved the traditional character of the apartment as well as the terrace and view to the river. Comfortable bed, good shower and pretty much everything you need in the kitchen.
