The size of the property is massive, very clean and the shower was great. It was very well equipped, it had everything you needed for a self catering stay. The village was incredibly quiet and the nature outside of the village was stunning. The closest town had a good supermarket and lovely access to the river. The nearby city of Castelo Branco is very nice and has a large swimming area. We wished we had more time to stay longer and will book again next time we are in the area.

it was a surprise for us. Modern, lovingly furnished house with a large kitchen. fully equipped with everything you need. Fly screens in front of the windows, deck chairs in the garden, everything is great and Laura is the perfect hostess. We were able to relax well for the 3 days. If we're nearby, we'll definitely come back.

We had a really lovely time in Perais. Laura and her husband wete very helful and generous with produce from their garden and eggs from their chickens. The home was comfortable and very well equipped. It more than met our expectations. Perais is a really nice village and we had a good welcome in the shop and social club. The rush hour was the sheep and goats being herded through the village! Home from home for us! There are some lovely walks around the village and to the River Tejo. There are also some villages and river gorges to visit. We ate in the restaurant in Alfrivida (only lunch available) and Herdade da Urgueira. Both are excellent as well as the morcella and chorizo from the social club.
