For the price the slumber lodge is excellent. True, a little dated in parts but overall can’t complain and just what we needed. Clean, everything functional, staff were excellent and extremely helpful. Good location near the lake and Main Street.

This is not a fancy hotel but a nice traditional motel. The staff was great, checkin was easy, the room was nicely appointed and super clean. the location is the best as it is right on the Lakeshore (across from the lake) and our room looked straight out over the parking lot and out to the lake. Half a block away are 2 excellent micro-breweries and a fantastic pizza restaurant, La Tratto. All the other motels on Lakeshore are farther to the west and also fine, but not close to these faves of oours.
