Great location, quiet, and amazing to meet the pigs and lambs. Anna and Henry were really helpful with their instructions and providing everything we needed for our stay. The room was also much bigger than we were expecting, and the gardens were lovely.

Very friendly hosts, wonderful medieval atmosphere, lovely grounds to explore and great proximity to the Lake District

Henry and Anna were the perfect hosts and despite being busy with family life made time to chat over breakfast long enough to establish that Henry and my husband attended the same school 300 miles away! The accommodation was lovely - comfortable and clean with nice touches. Breakfast was superb - sausages and bacon provided by the family pigs and also available to buy to take home. Everything was lovely and we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Johnby Hall in the future.
