This cottage is lovely & cosy, very comfortable & perfect for a quiet weekend away. My friends & I stay here every year for a catch up. The pub down the road has really great food, followed by a soak in the hot tub so it's just perfect.

The barn was cosy and quiet, it worked well for our group and we loved having the hot tub! The location was great for activities around Ullswater as well as being close to Penrith. The beds were comfortable and having three bath/shower rooms worked great for our group of six adults. The garden was secure for our dog and the area felt very safe.

Plenty of room. Easy to make meals for 6 in the kitchen. Hot tub cleaned multiple times during our stay. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. Very close to Penrith but far enough away to be in the middle of nowhere.
