The cottage was comfortable, spotlessly clean, well equipped, quiet, private with an uninterrupted view of the ocean. Host was friendly and welcoming. Loved the delicious apples and fresh eggs.

The chalet was very comfortable, well equipped for cooking, and had fabulous views to Bass Strait and the coast. Hugh was very welcoming, and we enjoyed walking in the paddocks with the very docile sheep and cattle. We had fresh eggs from the chooks out back too. An easy 5 minute drive (or 30min walk) into Penguin town made it a great location, and we could return to the chalet and enjoy the quiet with the great views. A restful and enjoyable stay!

Hugh & Liz were the best hosts I've dealt with ever. Both so friendly and helpful, check in was easy. The house was clean and very comfortable with amazing views across both farmland and the ocean. Hugh even texted me when the wedge tail eagles were flying low over the house to let us know so we could duck out and watch them. We will be back for sure. Thank you to Liz & Hugh for making our first Tassie trip an absolute dream!

We loved the wonderful views of the ocean, and being on a farm and seeing the lovely sheep and birds. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room to relax and enjoy the views. It was close to the town of Penguin, so we didn't have far to travel to pick up supplies and visit the beach.

Having done a lot of travelling over many years we would rate Penguin Seaside Farm among a small few of the best places we have stayed at. The views over the bay and surrounding fields are absolutely spectacular and the two cottages on the farm have been designed to make the most of the aspect. Our cottage was well appointed and stocked with a number of additional condiments and cooking utensils to help make our stay enjoyable. Hosts Hugh and Liz also left us some farm fresh eggs in the fridge which were very much appreciated. Penguin Seaside Farm is located approximately 2kms from the townsite and is very easy to find. We can't rate it highly enough and will certainly stay there again when next visiting Tasmania.
