Very quiet spot, close to the river. THe house is spacious, clean and has a good kitchen and nice terrace. The bedrooms are simple and have an en suite bathroom each, a part from a little loo in the living room. Comfortable couch and beds.

The most beautifully restored 2-bedroom home in a very small, authentic village just outside Penacova in the Dao Valley. Spacious and incredibly well appointed, with a warm and welcoming vibe. Victor went out of his way to make us feel at home and share his passion for this region: its natural beauty, fantastic wines, unique cheeses and meats. We had a wonderful stay and would return in a heartbeat. The region has so much to offer and Victor is a font of knowledge. His advice was invaluable. Thanks Victor for your incredible warmth and hospitality.

Fantastic spacious house with everything you need to make yourself comfortable. Victor helped with local recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. We travelled with our two Labradors who were made very welcome, great riverside walk minutes from the house.
