Pros: Location was great, right opposite the castle and a minute's walk to the start of the town and the 'Long Entry' car park. This is where we parked our car and it worked out perfectly. Cottage was very nicely decorated with a lovely terrace out the back door (albeit up some steep steps). As a history buff, I liked the idea of staying in a medieval cottage - however it would have been nice to have had some information about the history of the cottage, given it was 1000 years old, but there was none. Bathroom very good size and shower hot instantly with a good stream of water. Bedrooms all very good size and nicely furnished. Lounge, dining room and kitchen nicely decorated and sofa's in lounge were comfortable. The blue armchair in the dining room was perfect for my 83 year old mum!

Beautifully appointed old cottage. We really liked the kitchen and bathroom. Deceptively spacious. Comfortable beds. Clear instructions on getting into the property.
