Fabulous view from room across harbour. We spent all evening until it got dark looking at the magnificent view. Good dog walk to small beach, steep hill to climb back mind. Make sure you book the room with a view. Small premium but well worth it

Good size room with a view, large common room and on-site parking. Also enjoyed the eclectic collection of curios in the house.

This was the second time we have stayed at lakeside, we stayed last year and had the room round the side. The location is good however the room is looking tired and in need of refreshing. The sealant round the shower is cracked and there are gaps in the floor tiles and bits of plaster coming off the ceiling. And would prefer white sheets on the bed as they look and feel cleaner.
