As a wedding venue, there is often a disco on Friday and Saturday evenings, which may cause some noise. Some rooms are directly above the disco.There is no lift at the Ashburnham Hotel all rooms are only accessible by stairs.The restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. We have been coming every year for the past 5 years and always enjoy our stay but thought the rooms were starting to look a bit tired - Since the new owners have been their they have started to referb the rooms and have done an excellent jobs. We stayed in a newly refurbished room, and the new decor was beautiful. The bathroom was light and spacious with an amazing rainforest shower. We were greated by the owners daughter upon arrival who was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. See you next year.

Friendly staff, were able to place a trailer we travelled with in the field. Biscuits and fresh milk in room each morning.
