This hotel is truly a family gem and absolutely wonderful. First of all, you can feel the real Olympic spirit here. The owner has not only preserved the heritage of previous generations but has done so with incredible care and taste. Her father’s historic bobsled still stands proudly in the courtyard, which makes the place feel like a living piece of history. There is also a fantastic bar run by Giovanni, the owner’s nephew, who knows a lot about hockey. As an Olympic volunteer, I absolutely loved chatting with him. Breakfast deserves a special mention! The baking is a true work of art. Soft homemade bread, delicate pastries, homemade croissants, and buns with jam and Nutella… I honestly don’t know how I’ll live without them now! Everything is made with love. And the porridge at breakfast was also incredibly delicious. The owner herself met me at Calalzo station, helped organize transfers for my volunteer shifts, and even took me along on trips to Misurina and Auronzo. We had such warm and meaningful conversations. This meeting felt like destiny, and these 15 days became some of the most memorable of my life. I will definitely come back in the summer with friends, and I hope to keep this wonderful connection. This wasn’t just a hotel stay, it was an experience I will remember for a lifetime. Thank you for feeding us so generously, for all the treats, and for helping me find my lost phone.

A comfortable, well-appointed hotel, very convenient for us as motorcycle tourists. We could park our motorcycles off the road in a private courtyard. When the local restaurant was closed, the hotel kitchen made us some sandwiches which was appreciated.

Breakfast was superior! Even the simplest rooms have very nice panorama. The building is very authentic and the location is superb if you want to drive arond the Alps and the Dolomites. Staff was also very kind and helpful.
