This was an absolutely outstanding base for a family holiday to explore Kangaroo Island. We loved the peace and quiet and wildlife, but it was convenient for exploring too. Warm, comfortable and absolutely perfect for a lovely family holiday.

The location was fantastic - remote enough to feel you're in the middle of nowhere yet only 8 minutes from American River. The best location for Kangaroo Island. The daily visits from the kangaroos was very special. We loved hanging out on the deck with a glass of wine watching them and my two young boys loved giving them kanga feed. The house itself was exceptional - beautfiful with great sized rooms, all the facilities you need and perfect for our family of 4. There was a bedroom we didn't use so you could easily fit 6 in the house.
