The villa is amazing! When we arrived we were taken aback by the beauty of it: a perfect greek summer villa. Emmanouel was lovely, he showed us around and told us we could pick anything from the garden (figs, grapes...) and he provided us with a full fridge and cookies handmade by his wife. The location is perfect, it's close to the beach and the center, but very quiet at night. (It's also only a 10 minute drive to Lindos). I would definitely recommend groups of friends and families to stay here, we had a great few days and would love to come back.

The house is a family holiday home that Emmanouel and his family don't have time to use much so he is renting it out. It's not a purpose built holiday let but he is continuously making improvements to make it the very best experience for his guests. Although the house isn't very new all the equipment is the new and of high quality. Notable here are the air-conditioning units, TVs, fast internet, enormous fridge with ice making function and a really cool easy open hatch to reach cold drinks without opening the whole fridge, sunbrellas and comfy sun loungers. We were initially concerned about there not being an indoor communal area to eat but that was unnecessary as there are three different places with tables around the house depending on where the sun is shining. The kitchen is admittedly very small but it's manageable. It's just important not to leave any food out to avoid the ants getting it - which is a problem all over Rhodes in high summer. With a fridge this size that's not a problem. There is a Nespresso capsule coffee machine and kettle, a cooker with oven, a top loader washing machine a sink and small table. If you have separate parties in the two rooms some coordination will be needed for the key to the kitchen. Beds, towels and linen are all in good condition and there is plenty storage for clothes etc in the rooms. Location is pretty ideal, very quiet and isolated but totally central and just 5 minutes walk from the main thoroughfares and supermarket. The nearest beach (Pefki Lee beach) is 7 minutes walk away. The Plakia beach was more like 10 to 15 minutes and well worth it as it is quieter and less crowded. Emmanouel deserves his own chapter as he really went over board to solve any issues that arose and was always reachable. He was especially helpful keeping us informed about the wildfires so that we didn't need to cancel our stay. He had also had pest control check out the house and there were literally no mosquitos.

Central location. The beach and town were very close. Set in a lovely orchard. The setting was private and not overlooked. The villa had an unusual layout. The two bedrooms (each ensuite) plus kitchen all opened out onto a central seating area; none of the rooms were connected internally. No internal seating area. Owner was easily contactable via WhatsApp.

The location of the property was amazing. We were less than a minutes walk to the town and about a four minute walk to the beach. However what made it particularly special is it’s surrounded by fruit trees and is incredibly peaceful despite being so close to the town. There is really something quite special about getting up in the morning and helping yourself to apricots from the trees! Emmanuel was a wonderful host. He was there to meet us and had left us some food and drink and his wife had baked us some biscuits. So welcoming.
