Pedro Barba is an amazing group of beautiful little beach villas directly overlooking a small beach and stone seawater pool. The villa, originally a Fishermans stone house has been renovated with taste. It is simple but functional, bathrooms are modern, beds are comfortable and the views on the neighbouring famara cliffs from the patios are simply spectacular. The caretakers are very responsive and helpful, I had a few question re keys wifi and hot water which were promptly answered. It is secluded, about a 10 minute drive from caletà de sebo. This makes it incredibly calm and you can enjoy amazing snorkeling with an incredible variety of fish along the small beach. The water is calm, the beach is used only by a dozen other guests of the neighbouring villas, Ideal for kids... The downside is that there are no shops, no cafes no restaurants, and that you will have to call a jeep taxi each time you need to visit one. You can alternatively either walk or rent a bike, but it is quite a hike and the roads are quite uneven sandy and very hot under the scorching sun and was not an option for me as I was with young children.. I was prepared for this (did my shopping on arrival, pre-booked three rides into town for dinner), and for just a few days, living away from the crowds was a treat.
