It wasn’t a travelodge and the breakfast was amazing. Loved the horse & cart pub recommended within walking distance as lovely food and great atmosphere with burning fire and packed with locals. Loved the water in fridge and jug of milk.

Very welcoming and responsive host. Parking beside Accomodation so easy to move out things in and out including our wheelchair . Lots of space to store our things . Good sized shower room - fridge in room and tea making facilities . Firm mattress on bed . Great location close to a good supermarket and not far from the places of interest we planned to see. Beside a main road but quiet with bird song And trees .

Fabulous location, Great bathroom.. Beds comfortable, bed linen and towels smelt lovely Refrigerator, kettle and table, and chairs in the room plus table and chairs outside under cover. Carmen was very personable and accommodating. Thank you for taking our rubbish every day and allowing us to cook on our camping stove. Ideal for the budget conscious. We thought the room was great value for money

My boyfriend and I had a lovely time at the Great Escape! Carmen kindly let us drop the bags before the check-in and was always there to help. The room was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. In the morning we enjoyed a coffee on the porch in front of our room-it was very relaxing as the property is surrounded by the countryside. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended! Thank you Carmen!
