Although the staff were overall very friendly and polite — especially during breakfast, which was lovely and well-prepared — we were quite shocked during check-out. The receptionist took our key and went to inspect the room before letting us leave. This has never happened to us before and felt quite rude, as if checking whether we had taken something from the room. Also, the tap water was yellowish, so I recommend using bottled water instead. The hotel's location is nice and quiet, and aside from the check-out experience, the service from the rest of the staff was excellent.

Lovely place. Spacious room. Been in Thailand for a week and this was the best night sleep so far. Very accommodating staff. Best breakfast as it wasn’t buffet style. Cooked to order. Recommend.
