Me and my wife stayed at the 88 house and all in all it was an ok hotel. Our favourite part was it was super central and literally right across from the beach. Like step out the door, boom! Patong beach and strip right there. Now for some this could be a good and a bad thing so let me elaborate. Our room was in the back side of the building so we looked at a cement wall out of both windows. Now normally I would list this as a bad thing but given all the excitement that goes on day and night on the road out front, it actually meant we had a nice quiet room to sleep in. Also the bunker like feel of having not a lot of places for sun to come in meant that when you wake up after a night of too many drinks on Bangla Rd, the room is dark and cool, so I appreciated this. Would recommend for a couple who are traveling without kids and who are just looking for a place to sleep.

Clean property in front of patong beach. Polite and Helpful staff. Recommend for budget travellers close to bangla street and patong beach
