This traditional Newari house has the good vibes. Dinesh helped me with things I had to orgenise. He´s speaking good English and that´s an advantage. The house is situated in a quiet corner of the city. Good breakfast. Dinesh and his family took me to a tradiitional restarant and offered the meal on his account. A place I can recommand. .

Cozy room in a traditional house in a great location (walking distance to Durbar Square). The hosting family is so welcoming and gives helpful recommendations for the stay in Nepal. We had so many interesting and inspiring talks about all sorts of things. The breakfast is good and there is hot water for the shower. After a few days it already felt like home. I enjoyed my stay so much that I will even come back before the end of my trip. Definetly the best place to stay in Kathmandu/Patan if you are interested in the Nepali culture. Perfect for solo travellers.

Stay in a bit of Newari and Kathmandu (well, Pātan) history. What a wonderful place to stay. Pātan is much nicer than central Kathmandu, and this place is just great. There aren’t too many of these buildings left standing, and you really feel privileged to stay here. Dinesh and his family are so welcoming and kind. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. A short walk to Pātan square, with lovely old building all around. I’m rather tall so the ceilings were a slight hazard but this only added to the charm. The breakfast and coffee were delicious too.
