Loved the dorms, probably the nicest I’ve seen in any hostel. The staff were so nice, even despite leaving early they didn’t charge a hefty cancellation fee (1 day fee only).

I booked Nextdoor Patan after reading wonderful reviews on Booking.com, and I must say, it lived up to my expectations! The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat in a quiet location. One of the highlights of my stay was the lovely outdoor space, where I enjoyed breakfast under the warm morning sun—a perfect way to start the day. The breakfast itself was delightful, and the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. As my event ran late into the night, the hotel provided me with a main door pin, allowing me to return at my convenience without any hassle. Being a non-smoker, I truly appreciated the smoke-free and odor-free environment, which made my stay even more pleasant. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Nextdoor Patan to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-managed place to stay!

I really loved this hostel in the heart of Patan. Spacious rooms, really confortable beds and really clean everywhere. There is a beautiful garden and they always organize interesting activities such as sightseeing with locals.

Excellent place to stay - really great location. The double private room was very spacious and the staff were very welcoming. We weren't able to pay by credit card on their system but they sent the link and that worked well. Would recommend. Note that the hotel asked for a review but I would have given them this rating anyway

The hostel was very clean, and cleaners did really good work every day to maintain the cleanliness. Location was good, but on a quiet road, not much noise outside.. Kathmandu's air pollution is catastrofic, nothing can help that, so the air was overall polluted. Staff was really nice. I stayed in a female dorm, a spacious cubicle with curtains, a big locker and a good mattress.

I loved NextDoor Patan Hostel. I stayed here three separate times during my visit to Kathmandu. Its a lovely quiet hostel. The team are superb and so friendly. It feels like a home. The breakfast was always great and served with a smile and friendly chat. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The shower was always hot. The rooftop terrace was great. Cooking class to make momos was amazing. I would definitely stay again the next time I come to Kathmandu.

The BEST hostel experience I've had! - Good price 💸 - Hot/cold Water free Refill 💧 - Good breakfast 🍳 - Friendly and fun staff 👨💼👩💼 - Great building, rooms and beds Don't miss out on a fun time meeting wonderful people. They really have put a lot of effort and thought into making it a special experience that shows the possibilities of what fun hostels can be I ended up cooking for the whole hostel when asked to cook my favourite dishes with help, they bought all the ingredients Everyone that visits seems relaxed and always up for chatting, or plan group hikes.
