This family-run guest house is situated within a peaceful nature reserve on the banks of the Schwarze Ilz river. It stands beside the castle ruins of Hals, 7 km from central Passau.
The cosy, country-style rooms of the Zur Triftsperre guarantee a relaxing break amid wonderful scenery. Enjoy hiking and fishing in the surrounding nature reserve, or walk to the Reschenstein Castle.

Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable room good shower. Adequate parking. Beautiful location. Good breakfast choice.

Lovely place to stay, comfortable room with beautiful view, quiet, relaxing. We eat at the restaurant fish and was delicious, staff was friendly and helpful , would highly recommend this place

We liked it very much! Friendly staff,very clean,decent to sleep one night. Parking spaces in front,rooms are decent,maybe the bathrooms a little bit small,but not a big problem. Decent price and very good for transit.
