Great location. Quiet street - though you can hear everything through the window, there is not much traffic or people outside during night, so no problem sleeping. Comfortable bed. Lovely lady in reception. 24h reception - always somebody available.

The position was perfect for exploring the opera area and only 10 minutes walk to the opera house and not much further to the Louvre. Also there are many covered passages into a block or two.

Hotel Lautrec Opera is, like so many hotels in Paris, in an building that was built in a time when the rooms were built small. I understand it used to be a brothel so the rooms didn't need much space (!). But it was comfortable and clean and very central to that area and within easy walking distance to multiple Metro stations. It was also very close to a number of covered alleyways that are full of restaurants - the lady at reception will tell you how to get there.
