Excellent value for this hotel: comfort, location by the canal with restaurants and cafes, and near 2 train stations. Room size is typical or slightly bigger for this type of hotel in Paris. Breakfast was fine (7/10) and again good value for the price.

This is a hotel close to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est in a vibrant area close to rhe Canal Saint-Martin. Easy bus or metro rides to many of the main sights of Paris and surrounded by bars and restaurants used mainly by local and not tourists. The staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. We loved every aspect of the hotel and neighbourhood and would happily stay at Hotel Soft on a return visit
