Amazing staff, polite and hospital. The best refurbished hotel around, and an amazing location. Total worth the value! All major eateries, shopping, Pantheon, gardens, bus and train access also so nearby. I highly recommend taking the junior suite.

We had a great stay in the Salvia Hotel. The hotel equipment is fresh and new, with a cosy interior and stylish furniture. Staff are very polite, friendly and professional. We also enjoyed breakfast - it is simple yet tasty and includes everything you need (and various types of coffee). We had a daily room cleaning service. Location is wonderful - close to all tourist attractions, yet located on the quite street, and in a less noisy area. We definitely want to come back.

The hotel is recently refurbished and the room was pleasantly decorated in a botanical theme sympathetic to the age of the area and building. The room was comfortable, adequately appointed and very clean, the adjoining bathroom was spotless and very nice. The hotel was quiet, no disturbances, as was the general neighbourhood. The staff were helpful and friendly. I attempt to speak French but as a poor linguist courtesy of a UK education I was relieved that all staff were also happy to converse in English when I most needed. Breakfasts are available, but I did not try them so cannot comment. The hotel is very well located, walking distance from The Sorbonne, Jardins de Luxembourg, the Pantheon (the other one ;) where Voltaire, Hugo and others repose) and even walkable to the Isle de la Cite and Notre Dame or to metros for elsewhere. Nearby bars, restaurants and cafes are close enough to visit but far enough not to disturb. All in all a great location. The only downside is room size, however, this is made up for by the budget and location in my view. It is ideal for a solo traveller (like me) or a couple on a budget who want a great location without breaking the bank or booking somewhere awful
