Some of these reviews are ridiculous! This is a 1-star hotel in the northern part of inner Paris. No, there is not an elevator, no there is not a minibar, no there is not eggs and bacon in the 10 EUR breakfast buffet, and yes the entrance has a quite “distinct” odour as you start walking up the narrow, steep stairs. The rooms are the size and in the shape of what I would expect from a 1-star hotel, the pictures are taken with a wide-angle lens and you can hear what the neighbours are talking about. That being said, it is very close to Montmatre and you have a plethora of small, cozy cafes and brasseries, most of them with vegan offerings! This is exactly what a 1-star hotel looks like at this price range. The staff is nice and smiling, and very welcoming. Thank you for a good stay!

Fantastic location 10 minutes from the city. Reasonably quiet I didn’t hear noise from other guests. Friendly and helpful staff with clean room serviced each day.

It’s amazing location, close to shops, metro, Sacre Cour, I walked there late night and it’s totally safe. There was many problem with my travel, so I arrived like 1:00 at the night…… and easily could check in, that was so great. Super cheap and good place to stay if you spend lot of time in the city and you just need a place to stay. The bathroom was shared but was clean, was heating also in the room. The room same as on their photo. Yes, was some smell I don’t know what it’s like when old building painted but there is window so was ok. The bedlinen was clean also the room good cleaning and the walls are thin but after 10 it’s quiet so I could sleep always when I wanted. Great location, kind receptionists, super price. Thank you. 10*

Well situated for metro. Room small but adequate for single traveller. Bed comfortable. Staff friendly - helped with luggage up 4 floors of a tight spiral staircase. Toilet and shower clean.
